Japanese Garden Design

Design, Planting

Garden makeover transforming a dull space into a flowing, wildlife-friendly garden with new turf, gravel feature, quirky bridge and a relaxing summer house.

The owner's garden was plain and dull, and they wanted something special that they could enjoy. They requested a revolving summer house and already had a handmade Japanese style timber bridge which we decided to use as a feature in an otherwise dull corner.

A large laurel hedge was removed and new turf was laid to replace the previously patchy and worn out grass, and plants were chosen to attract new wildlife back into the garden.

Susan designed a beautifully flowing garden from an awkward-shaped space that encouraged the homeowners to find time to enjoy their garden.

"We can’t wait to enjoy our garden for years to come!"
