Susan received a brief from the client requesting a complete garden overhaul from something that was becoming over grown and messy, to something child friendly and that would attract wildlife.
Susan replaced the old, worn paving with new and modern paving that would last the family for years to come. Within the paved area Susan created areas to grow and number of plants, that would be hard wearing and would put up with any potential child interference!
New trellises were interspersed throughout the garden, along the fence and the side wall of the house. The front garden was designed to attract wildlife back to the garden, and the side of the driveway to attract garden birds, local to the area.
The completed garden was finished to a beautiful and high standard. It would be easy to maintain for a busy family and with different areas they could all enjoy.

"Dear Susan, I don't think it is possible to make the garden that child proof but the inclusion of plants that shouldn't be digested is a good way of teaching the children not to touch and not to eat berries that they don't know what they are is essential and to do it in a safe environment is probably the best way of doing this. Also as the weather gets colder they are less likely to be outside for long periods of time. So basically just continue - thank you for all your work."
