Association of Professional Landscapers Awards 2020 for ‘Ruffs Furze’ garden in Oakley, Bedfordshire.

Delighted owners now have a new contemporary style, professionally designed garden with ‘wow’ factor, taking the interior theme of the new extension outside into the garden space.

The garden has a large dining terrace, patio with bespoke wisteria covered pergola to enjoy the evening sunshine, wide stone steps and paths to connect the spaces. Generous planting includes 2 large shrubs, box and yew hedges, 2 contrasting colour schemes for each side of the garden, with bulbs,  giving year round colour and textural interest.

Susan Young and her landscaper won a Bronze for Overall Design and Build and a Silver in the Hard Landscaping category for a garden build under £20k budget.
