A Banquet for Pollinators.
"Susan recently talked to our Horticultural Society meeting on garden design. It was an informative and entertaining evening and an interactive exercise in reviewing a garden was something we had never done before, and captured imaginations and made all engage brains. Everyone went home with ideas and thoughts on their own garden layout. A most worthwhile evening." - DW April 2013.
Cottage Gardening, a new talk for 2015.
Occasionally Susan is asked to write articles for magazines, give demonstrations on gardening to encourage wildlife or guide a garden visit. She is currently involved in writing a book on the local natural history.
“Every garden I work in is different. They each have their own genus loci, potential, challenges and successes – that is what I love about my work. It is a consuming passion, along with my own half-acre garden open for the National Garden Scheme Charities since 2008 and my plant nursery open spring and summer Saturdays – Garden Design and Horticulture is 24/7 for me.” - Susan Young
"Just wanted to say a somewhat belated ‘Thank you’ for delivering such an interesting and fun talk, such lovely photographs and great advice. The members that I spoke to thoroughly enjoyed it… We look forward to inviting you to Caddington Garden Club in the future." - M.E.
